“The Wedding Show at Park Place” set for March 9

Cedar Falls, IA (February 19, 2008) – Park Place Event Centre is set to hold “The

Wedding Show at Park Place”, its bi-annual wedding trade show, on Sunday, March 9

from 12 to 4 p.m. Admission is free for everyone and anyone who is eager to see the

latest trends and styles in wedding planning is invited to attend. Guests will see

everything from reception style settings including food and beverage samplings, from

floral arrangements to cakes, jewelry, dresses and tuxedos. Additional offerings include

limousine service, bachelor and bachelorette parties, photography and much, much

more.

"This wedding show is so spectacular, it is totally different from your regular show with

features of a real wedding to enjoy," says Park Place’s sales and marketing manager

Bridget Bryson. “From the butler passed hors d'oeuvres to the musicians playing light

music, our guests will really see ways to make their wedding even more special, whether

at Park Place or not."

Live entertainment will be provided by the Washington Street Brass Quintet, along with

several demonstrations including up-do hairstyle and massage demonstrations and

models will be walking around the event in dresses to give spectators a chance to really

see and feel the gowns, unlike a typical fashion show. All brides to be will receive

informational materials to help with wedding planning, on behalf of Park Place Event

Centre. The Wedding Show also has several great prizes, including the grand prize of a

$500 gift certificate from Royal Prestige Bridal Registry.
