BARMUDA VENUES HAVE REOPENED ON MAIN STREET IN CEDAR FALLS

CEDAR FALLS, IA, June 16, 2008 – Barmuda Corporation announced today that its properties on Main Street in downtown Cedar Falls, Iowa reopened following a temporary closure due to potential flooding of the Cedar River.

Bourbon Street and Voodoo Lounge are open and are featuring our regular menu items and nightly specials including dollar bottles tonight (Monday night). Soho and The Stuffed Olive will be open tonight serving half price martini’s. Joker’s Comedy Night Club will reopen Tuesday night with its regular nightly schedules. Comedy will continue Friday and Saturday with featured comedian, Quevaughn Bryant from California.

“We greatly appreciate the hard work of our team members, as well as all of the volunteers who have made an extraordinary effort to protect not only our facilities, but all of the buildings and businesses located downtown,” said Darin Beck, CEO and owner. “This has been a season of extreme weather conditions where everyone came together to ensure downtown Cedar Falls continues to be the heart of our community serving others.”

iTech, an Apple specialist computer store also located on Main Street was able to open today doing business as usual.

Although the flood waters remained out of downtown Main Street in Cedar Falls, the Barmuda corporate offices on Roosevelt St. were affected by the rising flood waters. The building and its contents were a total loss. Temporary offices have been set up in the River Plaza building, 10 West 4^th Street, Waterloo, Iowa.
