Park Place Event Centre to Host Barmuda Cares:

A Benefit for Tornado and Disaster Relief

 

CEDAR FALLS, IA (June 26, 2008) - Barmuda Corporation and Park Place Event Centre will present an award-winning chef-prepared dinner and a silent auction to benefit disaster relief efforts on Tuesday, July 9, 2008 beginning at 6 p.m. at Park Place Event Centre. Net funds raised will be managed by the LSB Foundation for the direct relief of those suffering from the effects of the recent tornadoes and flooding.  The LSB Foundation was established for the purpose of receiving charitable donations for the benefit of local communities. The event will include a light musical entertainment – The Piano Men, Mick Staebell and Jim Longnecker, dinner and a silent auction with local entertainer and auctioneer, Gary Kroeger.

 

Tickets are $75 per person and are available at the following locations: Park Place Event Centre, Old Navy in Crossroads Center and Lincoln Savings Banks (Aplington, Allison, Cedar Falls Downtown, Cedar Falls Industrial Park, Garwin, Greene Lincoln, Hudson, Nashua, Reinbeck, Tama, Waterloo and Waverly - Century 21 LSB Real Estate).
