BARMUDA HIRES NEW MARKETING EXECUTIVE TO TURN UP THE HEAT

Lori McConville Joins Barmuda as VP of Marketing

August 10, 2007 – (Cedar Falls, IA) Barmuda, the Cedar Valley’s dining and entertainment leader, is proud to announce that Lori McConville has joined the company as the Vice President of marketing. Lori will be responsible for overseeing all marketing operations for expanding the company’s brand strategy and implementing a marketing strategy going forward.

Lori, a 30 year advertising and marketing veteran who brings years of marketing experience to the team was formally the director of new business development at Mudd Advertising, and president and owner of McConville Communications where she was lead account executive for major accounts such as U.S. Cellular and Tyson Foods.

“Barmuda has always been known for its unique concepts with exceptional drinking and dining experiences,” said Darin Beck, President and CEO of Barmuda. “Lori’s strategic background will enable us to provide more customer-focused strategies as we take the company to the next level and plan for future growth.”

McConville, the sixth addition to the company’s executive board, joins an already successful group of vice presidents and directors. The executive board currently consists of the company’s CEO Darin Beck, vice president of operations Matt Smiley, vice president of finance Corey DeHeer, director of nightclub operations Kyle Dehmlow and director of restaurant operations Patrick Snyder.

The group meets frequently to analyze marketplace trends, forecast for each venue, discuss promotional ideas and to oversee the direction of the company. “I simply can’t imagine working with a group of more dedicated and seasoned professionals, I’m very proud of where these people have taken our company”, says Barmuda CEO Darin Beck.
