Dueling Pianos and New Menu Come To Bourbon Street in Downtown Cedar Falls

Cedar Falls, IA (August 24, 2011) – Bourbon Street on Main is now the new home of dueling piano shows every weekend and joins the likes of other live music and entertainment venues in the areas premier entertainment district. The new shows begin this weekend and happen every Friday and Saturday night at 9PM.

“We are excited about what dueling pianos will bring to the Main Street area,” shares Vice President of Operations Tara Smiley. “Not only will it add a new style of entertainment, but it takes what Bourbon Street is all about and elevates it to a whole new level.”

Dueling Pianos is a live entertainment show that features two pianists that sit facing each other playing hit songs and sing-a-longs while the audience participates in all the fun.

Along with the addition of live entertainment, Bourbon Street is transforming their menu. The new menu will feature the best Bourbon Street has offered over the years, and Black’s acclaimed Certified Angus steaks and an updated seafood section. The new menu along with a new salad bar coupled with the courtyard-like ambience make Bourbon Street a truly unique dining and entertainment experience. An oak tree anchor the restaurant, street lamps flanking the sidewalks, dueling pianos in the middle of the room, and beads everywhere all make a festive night out.

“This is almost a rebranding of Bourbon Street,” explains Darin Beck CEO. “We are now focused on capturing the festive spirit of the French Quarter. Think less Cajun and more beads! Think great steaks and seafood and one heck of a great show after dinner!”
