
BARMUDA ANNOUNCES SPECIAL NEEDS NIGHT LOCATION
CHANGE
Cedar Falls, IA (December 14, 2007) – Coconuts Beach Club which
currently hosts Special Needs Night on MondayÕs, will host the final event of
the year on December 17 in the current Coconuts location. There will not be any
Special Needs Nights on December 24 and 31 due to the holidays. Beginning
Monday, January 7, Special Needs Night will resume at its new location, MojoÕs
Pizza House on West 22nd Street in the College Hill District in
Cedar Falls. MojoÕs will continue to provide a live DJ and Dancing for the
event.
Coconuts, which announced recently that it would be closing January 2,
2008, will reopen as a new venue after extensive remodeling in February. ÒWe
know how important this night is to our special needs guests. WeÕve been doing
for so long that it truly become a Monday night ritual for those in
attendance,Ó added Barmuda owner and CEO, Darin Beck, Òwe will continue to
provide the event as long as the special needs community wants us to do it,
MojoÕs will make a great home for the event as the entire facility including
the dance floor is handicap accessible.Ó
The Special Needs Event will continue to feature a live deejay and
dancing with free soda for a three-dollar admission fee on MondayÕs from 5:30
– 7:30 p.m.
